Built in 1941, the golf course was completely renovated in 1999 under the supervision of renowned golf course architect John LaFoy. The renovated course features large ‘Champion’ Bermuda greens which average over 6,000 square feet each, 419 Bermuda fairways and concrete cart paths throughout. Goldsboro Golf Course has the best practice facility in the Wayne County area. GGC features nine practice mats, a 20 station grass hitting area, practice bunker, chipping green, and four strategically placed target greens all with laser shot exact distances. Golfers of all levels and abilities can improve their game. Lessons by appointment are available from Obie Agbasi, PGA.
