It started out as a dream of two local business men that grew up in Greenville, Doug Parker and Charles Newsome. With the help of two other friends, Tom and Miles Smith, they teamed together and made their dream come true and produced one of the finest courses and clubs in this part of the state. Our championship Lee Trevino Signature Course is the centerpiece of the Ironwood community. Winding through 200 acres of rolling wooded terrain, the course reveals subtle nuances while providing scenic vistas of the Tar River, ponds and native wildlife.

A note from Carolinas Golf Foundation: The Carolinas Golf Foundation's mission is to provide access to life-changing opportunities through the game of golf! We support Carolinas-based programs that expand the game’s reach to strengthen golf communities which includes college scholarships, junior and women’s golf development, inclusion and adaptive initiatives, and turfgrass programs.
