About Cherokee National Golf Club Cherokee National Golf & Recreational Club, Inc is a private golf and recreation club consisting of a championship 18-hole golf course, putting green, chipping green, driving range, swimming pool, social hall, snack bar, locker rooms and fishing ponds. Cherokee National features 4,000+ square feet Mini Verde Bermuda Greens and can play as long as 6,953 yards from the Championship Tees. The tee shots are fairly wide open on the Front 9 but pretty tight on the Back 9. If your tee ball finds the fairways, birdies can be made. If you are missing fairways, it could be a long day.
